Die ersten Totentanzdarstellungen im 14. Jahrhundert sind eine Folge der Pest Pandemie. Ausgelöst durch die Corona Pandemie hat Fru mit Sonja eine Neuinterpretation des Totentanzes geschaffen, mit der Frage: Wie gefährlich oder schädlich sind Corona und andere Gefahren eigentlich im Verhältnis zueinander? Was wäre das Leben, wenn wir allen diesen Gefahren vollständig aus dem Weg gehen würden?
Leben und Tod in Bildern, Texten und Zahlen. Der Tod ist immer unser Begleiter; lasst uns also fröhlich sein.
Beat Frutiger, oder Fru, wie er sich nennt, wuchs als Pfarrerssohn in Wabern bei Bern gleichsam auf dem Friedhof auf. Er ist pensionierter Kunstlehrer und freischaffender Künstler und lebt heute in Kaiseraugst.

The first Death Dance depictions in the 14th century are a consequence of the plague pandemic. Triggered by the Corona pandemic, Fru created a new interpretation of the Dance of Death with Sonja, asking: How dangerous or harmful are Corona and other dangers actually in relation to each other? What would life be like if we completely avoided all these dangers?
Life and death in pictures, texts and numbers. Death is always our companion; so let us be joyful.
Beat Frutiger, or Fru as he calls himself, grew up as the son of a pastor in Wabern near Bern, surrounded by the cemetery, as it were.
